Biography
The son of an Italian mother and a Turkish father, cosmopolitan pianist and composer Francesco Taskayali was born in Rome in 1991. A rising star in contemporary classical music circles, Taskayali has amassed a remarkable discography, performed internationally, and authored projects such as the soundtrack for Ocho Pasos Adelante, a 2013 documentary on autism. His fourth studio album, Wayfaring, was released in May 2017 on the Warner-IRNI Classic label.
