A member of the Philly-based crew State Property led by rapper Beanie Sigel, Freeway was quickly scooped up by the Jay-Z/Damon Dash-run label Roc-A-Fella after his cohort Sigel hit the big time. Freeway's albums have very much been family affairs with guest shots from members of both Roc-A-Fella and State Property.
