b. Chad Simpson, 1 June 1974, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Simpson grew up within the reggae industry and drew help as well as inspiration in his burgeoning career from the likes of Big Youth, Yellowman, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and General Degree. In 1996, he recorded the chart-topping ‘Fudgie', which also featured Lady Saw and Hawkeye on the 12-inch disco mix.
