Singer/songwriter and musician Jennifer Turner first got her start playing guitar with Natalie Merchant. Having guested on Merchant's 1995 solo effort Tigerlily, Turner crafted a playing style that would lead her to her next project: Furslide. She, bassist Jason Lader, and drummer Adam MacDougall inked a deal with Virgin in early 1998 and hooked up with Nellee Hooper for Furslide's debut, Adventure.
