Biography

Argentinean singer/songwriter Javier Calamaro composed for the first time at a very young age, forming a band called Frappé in 1983, singing along with Hernán Reyna. The band was later joined by drummer Leonardo Ramella, bassist Pablo Martín, and keyboardist Federico Oldenburgo, and their name was changed to el Corte; a self-titled album was recorded in 1986 and El Camino Contrario followed in 1987.
