As a gospel singer, songwriter, author, actress, and motivational speaker, Jekalyn Carr made her name in the mid-2010s, earning her first hit at the age of 15 with 2012's "Greater Is Coming" and releasing a string of increasingly successful albums including 2016's The Life Project and 2018's Grammy-nominated One Nation Under God.
