The conducting of Kazushi Ono has gained admiration among both audiences in Europe and those in his native Japan. He has led major orchestral ensembles and opera companies in both these parts of the world. Ono's recording career stretches back to the early digital era. He serves as music director of the Brussels Philharmonic and, in 2025, recorded Scriabin's Symphony No. 3 in C minor ("Le divin poème") with that group.
