Known professionally by just her first name, Maris Maddux-Ward is a singer/songwriter from Missoula, Montana who channels personal issues and heartache into eclectic, soulful, contemporary pop. Trained as a jazz singer and counting Amy Winehouse as one of her biggest influences, Maris uses music to deal with her inner struggles. She released her debut EP, Of Love & Rain, in October of 2015, followed by the self-recorded digital album Of the Sea in 2016, as well as the single "Liar."
