Miss Toni Fisher

b. c. 1929, Los Angeles, California, USA, d. February 1999. Miss Toni Fisher is best remembered for her one US Top 10 hit, ‘The Big Hurt', which reached number 3 in November 1959, but little is known of her background. She was a torch singer who recorded the Wayne Shanklin-penned hit for the small Signet label, backed by Heine Beau And His Orchestra.
