About

Murder City Wrecks

Biography

Heavily drunk on The Stooges, The New York Dolls and The Dead Boys, Murder City Wrecks got together in late '96 after the demise of their previous bands Fockwulf 182 and West End. Consisting of Paul Maus (guitar/ vocals), Murder City Wrech (guitar), Johnny H-Bomb (bass) and Eddie Wristrocket (drums), Murder City brought back the early ascetics of '77 punk to their home gutters of Detroit, MI. After a couple comp. tracks and a single on Beer City Records in 1998, their debut on Atlanta's GMM Records entitled "Get Wrecked" that same year. ~ Mike DaRonco
