The MusicAeterna orchestra (with its associated choir) has been the primary vehicle for the expression of the orchestral ideas of unorthodox Greek-born Russian conductor Teodor Currentzis. Currentzis founded MusicAeterna in 2004, while he was serving as principal conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
