Formed in Japan in the early '80s, OXZ was an all-female band that rode the line between jagged punk and moody new wave. They released several singles, EPs, and compilation tracks before breaking up in 1989, and in 2020 their complete recorded output was collected on the Captured Tracks discography release Along Ago: 1981-1989.
