Quentin Mosimann was the winner of the seventh edition of the French American Idol-like TV show Star Academy. There he performed with elaborate showmanship and developed his blend of jazz and electronica, performing Taxi Girl's hit "Cherchez le Garçon" in two separate versions, a jazzy one and an electronic one, which showed up on first EP outing in early summer of 2008.
