Biography

b. Rueben Klot, 1 April 1923, England, d. 9 December 2000. A popular singer in the UK in the 50s, Burns entered showbusiness straight after demobilization from the RAF in 1945. In the early days he was encouraged by Issy Bonn, and was spotted by Ambrose at the Blue Lagoon Club, and recorded with his Orchestra in 1949.
