Biography

Italian baritone Rolando Panerai has had one of the most durable of singing careers, mainly in supporting roles. His career lasted over half a century, beginning with his appearance at Naples in 1947 in Rossini's Mosè. He joined the roster at La Scala in 1951 after debuting in Samson et Dalila.
