Saravah Soul is a half-Brazilian, half-British collective that plays a hybrid music they call Afro-Brazilian funk. Founded by frontman, vocalist, and break dancer Otto Nascarella in 2005, who moved to London from Sao Paulo in order searched its dance music underground for players who would share his vision. He sought to create a modern music music that revisited and reflected the deep influence of late-'60s Brazilian soul-funk and uptempo samba.
