When Chicago-based guitar rock band NE-HI called it a day in 2019, three of its members quickly regrouped as the far more textural and experimental Spun Out. The band explored expanded instrumentation, collaboration, and shifting production on the lush psychedelia of their 2020 debut album, Touch the Sound.
