Hard-rocking Ocala, FL, post-grunge ensemble Stereoside features the talents of lead singer Jeff Shields, bassist David Oliver, drummer Chris York, and guitarist/vocalist Ben Foster. Formed in the late '90s out of the band 60 Cycle Hum, Stereoside released an album in 2005 with original vocalist Eddie Sweeney. Subsequently, Sweeney and Stereoside parted ways and Shields joined the ensemble in 2006 after winning a local American Idol-inspired competition.
