The Death of Her Money

Formed in Newport, South Wales, the Death of Her Money became familiar figures on the Welsh touring circuit. The band initially collaborated together when school friends Darren Kaskie and Ian Charles, and original bassist Nicky Williams, joined together to jam, taking the influences of Pelican, Isis, and Nirvana as a template. The Death of Her Money gained a loyal cult following in their homeland, and supported bands such as This Will Destroy You and the Icarus Line very early on in their career.
