Biography
Fronted by the female vocals of guitarist Lindsay McLennan, The Tomorrow People's brand of detailed pop-punk debuted in 1997 with their first single "Proof." Taking an influential bow to the likes of Husker Du and The Replacements, bassist Nick Cicer and drummer Sean Grupetta completed the line-up with their added craft of vocal harmonies. The Tomorrow People would eventually self-release two additional records before the end of 1997, this includes their first full-length Shining and the follow-up single "Bloodsuckee." ~ Mike DaRonco
