Traviezoz de la Zierra are an alternative corrido quartet known for their dark narcocorridos. Accordionist Efren Noriz and bajo sexto (six-string bass) player Adolfo Cordero left Los Traviezoz de Choix and formed the new band in the Sonoran desert town of Nogales with former Brillantes de Sinaloa members Adrian Garcia (guitar) and Victor Vicente Pérez Coyantes aka El Kompa Chente (vocalist/composer).
