Formed in 2001 in Almeirim, Portugal, WAKO -- or, for those in the know, We Are Killing Ourselves -- would make waves quickly, recording a demo in 2002 (entitled Outrage) and an EP in 2004 (entitled Symbiotic Existence) in addition to more than 150 gigs that helped the band land a deal with Casket Music in 2007.
