The Weeknd & Bella Hadid Broke Up

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have split, Gossip Cop has learned. The model and the musician dated for a little more than a year and a half. The breakup is being termed “amicable.”

Hadid appeared in The Weeknd’s music video for “In the Night,” but for the most part the couple remained low-key. They did, however, go public with their romance at the 2016 Grammys, arriving together on the red carpet. Despite their split, they will run into each other during the filming of this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris. The Weeknd is slated to perform at the show, where Hadid will be strutting down the runway.

The two, who recently vacationed together in Tokyo, reportedly split because their work commitments had them going in different directions.

The Weeknd is set to tour in support of his new album Starboy, beginning in Stockholm in mid-February. After performing throughout Europe for a couple of months, The Weeknd will head to North America for shows until late-June. Meanwhile, Hadid’s modeling will take her around the globe as well.

Despite their breakup, Gossip Cop is told Hadid and The Weeknd are still “good friends” and “care tremendously” for each other. Gossip Cop has reached out to their reps for an official comments. The news of the split was first reported by People.
