Cheese Streusel Cake

·         1 package yellow cake mix

·         1 package dry yeast

·         1 c. flour

·         2 eggs

·         2/3 c. warm water (110 degrees F.)

Take out 1 ½ cups of the cake mix and put into a bowl. Reserve the rest.

Mix with the yeast, flour, eggs and water to make a thick batter.

Spread into a greased and floured 13 X 9” baking pan.

Filling:

·         2 8-oz. packages cream cheese

·         2 eggs

·         ¼ c. sugar

·         1 T. flour

·         1 T. lemon juice

Mix until smooth and spread on top of batter

Topping:

·         Reserved cake mix

·         6 T. softened butter

Blend together and sprinkle over the filling.

Blend 2/3 c. brown sugar and 2 t. cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
