Court Takes Man at His Word That He Had Sex With Sister

A man sentenced to more than seven years in jail after he was spotted holding hands with his sister at the Muscoda Mushroom Fest two years ago won't be released early after a Wisconsin court rejected his appeal Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Because Christian Bisbach was on extended supervision in 2015 for the sexual assault of a child, his hand-holding with a young woman earned him an interview with a sheriff's deputy and his parole officer. Bisbach told them the woman was his biological sister but that he had been adopted prior to her birth and they were raised apart. He said he moved back in with his biological parents in 2015 when he 29 and started a sexual relationship with his sister, who was 18.
