New Mexico State is going to the school's first bowl game in 57 years.  The Aggies defeated South Alabama 22-17 on Saturday, ending the decades-old bowl eligibility drought - until now, the longest in the nation.  NMSU and Utah State are scheduled to tangle in the Arizona Bowl at Arizona Stadium in Tucson on December 29th.

The 2 Aggie teams last met in a bowl game in 1960 when NMSU beat Utah State in the Sun Bowl by a score of 20-13.
