We heard there’s been some expletive-filled interest in Haiti recently. Which reminded us to revisit just how beautiful this country is. And the only thing more inspiring than the land? Its people.

Airbnb has launched a new ad campaign promoting travel to countries that were denigrated by President Trump last week.
The short-term rental company says it'll spend at least $100,000 on digital ads to help promote travel to some of their listings in Haiti, El Salvador, as well as African countries.
The company said in a statement on their website that they wanted to "encourage more travelers to visit these special and beautiful places,” as part of their "mission to create a world where anyone can belong anywhere.”
Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky highlighted several of the website's listings on Twitter, including sites from Senegal, Haiti and Morocco.
This is what the view from breakfast in Senegal, Africa looks like. Wake up overlooking the coast, break bread with your host, then explore the pink waters of nearby Lake Retba. No matter where you go, you’re struck by the warmth of the Senegalese people. #weaccept pic.twitter.com/vTbXO4IgBO

Things you should know about Morocco: Yes, it really IS in Africa. And contrary to some recent remarks, it really IS this beautiful. But more importantly, it's home to the kindest people who are proud to share their culture. We suggest you take them up on their offer. #weaccept pic.twitter.com/luKdAmc6XO
