GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) -- Many residents in Michigan's lower peninsula are saying they saw a meteor streak low across the sky Tuesday night.
The topic is abuzz on twitter, with users saying they saw it as far west as Chicago, and as far north as Traverse City. It was also spotted in West Michigan and Northern Ohio, but most of the sightings are coming out of Southeast Michigan.
Our colleagues at 24-hour News 8 have confirmed it was indeed a meteor.
