Pirates Of The Caribbean Reopened At Walt Disney World With New Scene

On Sunday, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland celebrated in 51st birthday!

Meanwhile in Walt Disney World, the Orlando version of the ride reopened to the public featuring a new scene.

The scene that previously portrayed women being bought and sold was revamped to be a bit more family friendly.

I mean, yea that's a little dark for Disney.

The scene, shown below, now has the infamous redhead as a pirate auctioning off goods from the town people.

This isn't the first time the ride has been adjusted with the times. Back in the 90's, there was a scene that had pirates chasing women around their homes. Again, a bit dark for Disney. The ride was updated to have the women chasing the pirates with with rolling pins trying to catch them for stealing. Much funnier.

Although I think this update was needed, we'll always remember that famous line...

We wants the red head!
