St. Marys Shooting Now a Homicide Case

Lima, OH (WIMA) - A shooting that took place in Auglaize County near Grand Lake Saint Marys back on April 11th is now a homicide case.

Sheriff Al Solomon says 47-year-old Dexter Lee Turner died Tuesday morning at St. Rita's medical center as a result of injuries sustained in the assault.

The Allen County Coroner's office will assist with autopsy arrangements.

Turner's son was also injured by gunshot wounds in the incident.

Deputies and detectives along with Ohio BCI&I officials are continuing with their investigation.
