A Rochester teenager has pleaded not guilty to second-degree manslaughter -- and related charges -- in the shooting death of a girlfriend.
Seventeen-year-old Jermaine Brown was arrested yesterday for the shooting last Wednesday that killed 18-year-old Ciara Grimes at their friends' home on Delamaine Drive.
Brown is accused of recklessly firing a .25 caliber pistol, wounding Grimes inside the house. She was found in the driveway.
The shooting happened four days after a court granted Grimes a no contact order against Brown. Other charges against Brown include aggravated criminal contempt and a weapon possession charge. He's being held on $50,000 bail.
