Rapper, Daniel Hernandez aka 6ix9ine or Tekashi 6ix9ine, could potentially be facing up to three years in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor.

The New York musician is being legally sought after due to posting a video of a 13-year-old online engaging in sexual acts as he egged her on. In the video, the 13-year-old is filmed engaging in oral intercourse with a friend of Tekashi's, who was also charged, while Tekashi is seen making thrusting motions with his pelvis behind her. She is also seen to be sitting naked on Tekashi's lap, according to The Sun

Although the video was posted in 2015 and Tekashi took a plea deal, he has since been arrested twice, breaking his parole conditions.

Earlier this year in January, the rapper was arrested for allegedly choking a 16-year-old in Huston's Galleria Mall. Again in May, the artist was arrested for unlicensed driving and was accused of assaulting a cop and obstruction of governmental administration. He now faces 1 to 3 years in prison. The Manhattan District Attorney's office is also asking that Tekashi register as a sex offender.

Vulture reports that Prosecutor Sara Weiss is arguing that the rappers social media post "promote a culture of violence and glorify gang activity." In addition, "(The) defendant’s behaviour undermines any argument that the interests of justice are served by relieving him from the onus of a criminal record."

The rapper took to social media to defend himself in the eyes of the public. He urges everyone to really take a deep dive and look into his case.

"Yo I know I troll a lot, but for the people who care, the people that's making it their priority to care about my personal life. I want you to take a second and look into my case, alright?"

Tekashi says that when he went to court, he did not have $10,000 to pay for a lawyer and instead had to settle for a public defender.

"Three and a half years ago, I'm not this famous rapper that has $10,000 to pay for a private lawyer. I had to settle for a public defendant - a court-ordered lawyer, know what I'm saying? At this time, I'm scared, know what I'm saying? They are saying, 'You, you're going to get 15 years.' I'm like, 'No, I got a daughter on the way.' This is 2015, I'm like 18-years-old, I'm like, 'No, give me anything but jail time.' Know what I'm saying?

In the video, he states that he is another minority who is a victim of the court system.

"If you look into the case, right, this is just another story of a minority, of a youth being under the court system built for me to fail. For the people saying, 'Yo Tekashi, yo 69 you not taking it serious,' I am. Trust me, I am. I'm just not going to let that affect me."
