Cancer Survivor Brendan Connors Is Living Out His Bucket List Dreams

Brendan Connors is a metastatic melanoma survivor who lives his life one day at a time. He was treated using the cutting-edge checkpoint blockade therapy by the renown Dr. Wolchok at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Since completing his treatment, Brendan has been cancer free for six years. He's been traveling the world with his wife, Chrissy, the past few years and sharing their incredible adventures on Instagram. 

Before he began jet-setting around the world, Brendan created a bucket list of things he wanted to achieve before he turned 30. Once completing his first bucket list, Brendan decided to make another one. This time, though, it would be all about traveling. Six years out from his cancer treatments, Brendan's now ticking off the items on his second bucket list...one magical location at a time. 

Through his travels and intrepid spirit, Brendan has inspired others to follow their own dreams and live their lives to the fullest. He shows his followers that life is meant to be cherished. It comes as no surprise, then, that Brendan will be featured during Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) on Friday night during the "Instagram vs Reality" segment, which will feature the beautiful photography from his travels. Brendan will also share his thoughts on healthy living and overcoming cancer, both physically and emotionally. He will open up about how things aren't always exactly what they seem on Instagram, as well. It's sure to be a highlight of the night. 

Stand Up 2 Cancer aims to raise funds for cancer research with the help of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. The festivities are kicking off this year with a one-hour digital live show "It's #Up2Us: Stand Up To Cancer | The Digital Live Show," which will be streamed on iHeartRadio's social media platforms, SU2C's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Friday, September 7th. 

The Digital Live Show is going to be a star-studded event. Tune in to see hosts Max Greenfield, Brenda Song, and Tyler Posey get the special night started.
