Figures from a new study show hundreds of thousands of immigrants were deported this year. The new report from Syracuse University cites data obtained from Homeland Security that shows more than 287,000 illegal immigrants were deported in the fiscal year ending September 30th.  Mexican immigrants accounted for more than 25% of the total.   In President Obama's last year in office in 2016 DHS data shows there were over 450,000 deportations.
