Thom Yorke Shortlisted For 2019 Oscars' "Best Original Song" Category

The Oscars nominees may not be announced until next month, but the Academy revealed the shortlist of nine different categories on Monday (December 17). The move marks the first time a shortlist has been announced since 1979.

Among the categories is "Best Original Song," which includes Thom Yorke for his song "Suspirium," which is featured in the film Suspiria. Kendrick Lamar and SZA (“All the Stars”), Sampha (“Treasure”), Sade (“The Big Unknown”), Jónsi and Troye Sivan (“Revelation”), and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (“Shallow”) are also included in the 15-song list.
