Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have taken a fan’s suggestion to heart and it may have sparked the greatest duet’s Live Album of our time.

Garth often credits his success to his fan’s suggestions, and this time he is crediting two girls who reached out with an important question which sparked a brilliant answer.

Garth tells Variety, “These two girls wrote into Trisha [Yearwood] and I and said, 'Hey, look, I know you guys are gonna do a duet record. Would you ever think about doing a duet concert where the whole night is duets?'" Brooks recalls. "I'm looking at her going, 'No, wait a minute, let's combine the two ideas?’"

Garth loved the idea and took time to build upon it.

In an interview with Cody Alan, Garth enthusiastically shared the news, “You know, we’ve always talked about a duet record. What if the first duet record is a duet live record? There’s what we need to do. That’s what we will do."

Garth and Trisha enjoy bringing fans together for an experience unlike any other, “all of a sudden you have a live greatest-hits duet record and people get to watch how a record is made."

There's no date for the recording, but he hopes that he and Trisha will be able to do it at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

"We're not touring as hard as we did the last three years. The last three years it was, like, 396 shows on the tour. This one is gonna be really spread out, just individual nights, 10 a year," Brooks says.
