A hospital in Cleveland, Ohio has fired a resident doctor after a series of anti-Semitic tweets were uncovered. In the tweets, which date back to at least 2012, Lara Kollab said that she would "purposely give all [Jewish people] the wrong meds." She also minimized the horrors of the Holocaust.

“I don't mean to sound insensitive but I have a REALLY hard time feeling bad about Holocaust seeing as the people who were in it now kill my people," she wrote in another tweet.

The Cleveland Clinic took swift action and fired her once they learned of her past tweets.

“Cleveland Clinic was recently made aware of comments posted to social media by a former employee. This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018. She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system,” the Cleveland Clinic said in a statement.

According to Cleveland.com, Kollab received her medical license in July 2018 and it will remain valid until June 2021. She has since deleted all of her social media accounts and has not commented on her firing or the content of her social media posts.
