In January, a star-studded cast of musicians gathered in Los Angeles for I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell. During the concert, artists like Metallica, Miley Cyrus, and the late singer-songwriter's band Soundgarden played some of his most iconic songs. Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of the night was a live collaboration between Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, and Audioslave members Tom Morello and Brad Wilk. Together, they played Audioslave's hit "Show Me How To Live" with Grohl on vocals.

Cornell's official Instagram account recently posted professionally filmed footage of the performance, which you can watch below.

The rockstar was awarded a posthumous GRAMMY last month for his previously unreleased track, "When Bad Does Good." His daughter Toni and son Christopher accepted the trophy on his behalf and gave a touching speech.

"I never thought we would be standing here without my dad," said Christopher. "I'm sure he would be proud and honored. He was a rock icon, the Godfather of grunge and a creator of a movement. While he touched the hearts of millions, the most important thing he is known for, for us, is for being the greatest father and our hero."

Toni added: "His voice was his vision and his music was his peace ... thank you to our mom — his love, his muse and his savior who continues to carry out our father's legacy ... this is for you, daddy."

Just a few days after the GRAMMYs, it was revealed that Brad Pitt would be producing a documentary about the rock icon.
