Yum! Sisanie has been on the WW, Weight Watchers Reimagined, journey and while she has found weight loss success, she hasn’t compromised on taste!
One of the perks of WW is that you can still eat real food while also shedding weight. In the latest episode of Off-Air With Sisanie in the video above, Sis whips up a tasty nut-crusted mahi-mahi recipe.
As Sis shares, the recipe looks pro, but couldn’t be easier — or quicker!
All it takes is a few ingredients and 12 minutes in the oven! Watch the video above and get the full recipe below:
dry roasted salted macadamia nuts
3 Tbsp, chopped
dried plain breadcrumbs
¼ cup(s), panko (Japanese variety)
2 Tbsp, or cilantro, fresh, minced
¾ tsp, divided
uncooked Mahi mahi fillet(s)
1 pound(s), without skin
1 large, whipped to soft peaks
Preheat oven to 450˚F. Coat a baking pan with cooking spray; place pan in oven to heat.
Place nuts, panko, parsley (or cilantro) and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a mini chopper or blender; process until combined. Pour crumbs into a shallow bowl or plate; set aside.
Place fish on a plate; rub 1/2 teaspoon salt all over fish. Dip fish into egg white; turn to coat. Next, dip fish into nut mixture; turn to coat.
Remove pan from oven and place fish on pan. Roast until center of fish is no longer translucent, about 10 to 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
Yields about 4 ounces fish per serving.
