Deep Purple's appropriately-titled 'The Long Goodbye' tour is getting longer.

While the 'Long Goodbye' was thought to be finished last fall, the band on Monday announced 33 additional U.S. concerts this coming fall.

The tour will begin in early September and wrap up six weeks later in mid-October. You can see all the dates below and get more details here.

Deep Purple started the tour in 2017, the year following its long-awaited Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Many assumed the tour was heralding the legendary band's retirement, but band members were noncommittal on the matter.

Guitarist Steve Morse said last summer that he was probably the only member of Deep Purple looking forward to retirement. Bassist Roger Glover later added that he was "dreading" a final farewell.

Then in January, Morse of all people let slip that the he was planning several projects in 2019, not the least of which included a new Deep Purple album and another tour.

And if Deep Purple is continuing with the 'Long Goodbye' moniker, that suggests the follow-up to 2017's Infinite album won't be released until after the tour is over.
