2019 NBA Finals - Game Three

Beyoncé's publicist has a message for the BeyHive: Stop "spewing hate."

By now you've probably seen the memes making rounds on the Internet. You know, the ones of Queen Bey apparently glaring at Nicole Curran — whose husband owns the Golden State Warriors, who sat courtside next to the singer during Wednesday's (June 5) Warriors vs. Raptors game — for leaning over her to chat it up with her husband Jay-Z.

If you let (most of) the BeyHive tell it, dragging Curran's name up and down the Internet over the 24 hours that followed was totally warranted — from being branded as "Becky with the good hair" to flat-out stone-cold roasting sessions to death threats.

In light of the harassment, Curran even came out to share her side of the story to ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne. "Curran says Jay Z asked for a vodka soda. She asked if he wanted lime with that," Shelburne tweeted Thursday (June 6). "But it was loud in Oracle and she couldn’t hear, so she leaned over. That’s where the photos of Beyoncé looking askance at her come from."

To say things got ugly is an understatement, and now, Beyonce's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, is addressing the "hate" the incident has caused on social media.

"I am looking back today at the start of the 'OTRII' tour, one year ago. It was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love," Curran wrote with an image of Bey-Z embracing one another on-stage. "Every single day on that tour I saw love."

"Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE," she continued. "I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name. We love you."
