Nothing is off limits for Meghan Trainor when it comes to song writing. The “All About That Bass” singer shared with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, July 31, that she writes songs about her hubby, actor Daryl Sabara, all the time — some even too dirty to play 😂

“I’ve been in the studio every single day,” Meghan updated Seacrest on life since they last talked. “Just music and living the dream and madly in love.”

The lovebirds, who met in 2014 after being set up by mutual friend Chloe Grace Moretz, got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot this past December in Los Angeles before 100 family members and friends.

When Ryan asked if marrying a songwriter means Sabara sets limits on not revealing too much, Meghan said “absolutely not.”

“Basically, I’m in charge,” she jokingly added. “I mean, the first time I got really mad at him, I wrote a song about him that didn’t go anywhere, but it was called ‘You Look Ugly When You Cry’ and he knows it, he doesn’t cry a lot, but when he does, it’s really ugly,” she hilariously explained. “[And] the other night I wrote a line — it’s kind of dirty — it was like, ‘I never have to fake it because my man give it to me’ so he was excited about that one.”

NSFW hubby dedicated songs aside, Meghan has indeed been busy working on new music and most recently dropped hit new track “With You” featuring Kaskade. She's also recently dedicated her time joining forces with WE Day.

“I’m so excited, I fell in love with this charity,” Meghan shared. “… WE Day is an amazing charity that helps child labor, [helps] with clean water, with poverty; they build schools, they’ve given 200,000 kids access to education and WE Day is a big day to celebrate all the good the amazing kids, families and teachers have done to change the world.”

Joining Meghan for this year’s WE Day special on ABC are fellows celebs including Neil Patrick Harris, Selena Gomez and many, many more.
