Low-Country Shrimp Boil

What do you call that backyard party meal with shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage that everyone in the South seems to love? It goes by Lowcountry Boil, Beaufort Stew, Shrimp Boil, and Frogmore Stew.

Far & Wide refers to it as Lowcountry Boil, and chose it for their list of Best Signature Food in every U.S. State. It has some pretty big competitors when you think about South Carolina favorites like BBQ (mustard based only), Shrimp 'n Grits, and Pimento Cheese. Would you choose this "stew" as the signature food of South Carolina?
