Louis Tomlinson has released another single from his debut album.

The former One Direction member released a brand new balled, called “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart,” on Saturday (November 23). The uplifting record finds Tomlinson singing about the woes of letting go of something you love, but also encourages listeners not to dwell in the sadness of such loss.

“Don't you let it kill you/ Even when it hurts like hell/ Oh, whatever tears you apart/ Don't let it break your heart,” Tomlinson croons in the chorus of the tune. In a statement regarding the track, Tomlinson expressed: “‘Don’t Let It Break Your Heart’ is a song I’m really proud of. It’s a song about hope and seeing the glass as half full.”

The 27-year-old’s newest single is the latest to come off the artist’s upcoming debut studio album, Walls, which releases on January 31, 2020. Tomlinson recently unveiled visuals for his previously-released records, “Kill My Mind” and “We Made It.”

This week, the pop star spoke exclusively with iHeartRadio about the excitement leading up to the arrival of his first effort. When dishing to us about what fans can expect to hear, the "Two of Us" vocalist explained: “I always try to operate as a writer, lyrically it's honest and it's real. At times, blunt. Musically, it's just live and as organic as I possibly could make it, and there's plenty of guitars on there, so I'm really happy with the way the record sounds.”

In addition to releasing Walls, Tomlinson will be embarking on a tour in 2020 — get ticket details here.
