One Direction is reportedly moving forward with reunion plans, but Liam Payne got in a bit of trouble for prematurely spilling the beans.

On Sunday (April 19), Payne was chatting with Alesso in promotion for their recently released collaboration, "Midnight," and spoke about the 10th anniversary milestone again. During the discussion, Payne revealed that most of the band is in London and that they've "been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime at the moment." "I can't say too much," Payne said later in the live discussion. "It was actually Louis [who] told me off for revealing a bit about our plans the other day. So I had a group telling off on the group chat."

Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are set part of these reunion plans, but it doesn't seem like ZAYN will participate in the upcoming festivities. At one point in the chat, Payne suggested that Alesso could "come and fill in for ZAYN, join the band." However, it's worth noting that all of the bandmates have re-followed the estranged singer, who left the boy band in 2014, on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Payne said that the group was digging through the archives to sift through content for the project. "To hear a lot of people’s voices and seeing old content and different things that we haven’t seen for a long time or never seen before, it's very interesting," he explained. "At the moment I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say. There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around."
