Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Jon Pardi are returning to the big stage in July! The country artists are all set to perform a series of nine socially distanced drive-in concerts dubbed "Live From The Drive-In."
The shows are scheduled for July 10-12 in three locations including Nashville, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Indiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. Paisley will headline all three cities, while Rucker and Pardi will play Nashville. Additionally, rapper Nelly, Pink Floyd tribute band El Monstero and cover band Yacht Rock Revue are also included in the lineup.
The concerts will take place in the parking lots of Nashville's Nissan Stadium, St. Louis' Hollywood Casino Amphitheater and Indianapolis' Ruoff Music Center. Fans will watch the show from the parking lots of the venues, with four people allowed per car.
"I'm very excited to do this because I wanted to make sure, if we were going to do anything like this, that they had the important stuff worked out," Paisley shares with the Associated Press. "My goal would be not to spread this virus to one person. There should be no spread from this. That's key. I just don't think it's worth doing shows if we're putting people at risk."
"The idea that we’re outdoors is a great thing," Paisley adds. "I just think it’s a fun way to watch a concert anyway. It’d be fun if there wasn’t a virus."
According to the Associate Press, staff at each venue will be wearing masks throughout the event. All attendees are required to wear a mask as well upon arrival, although they'll be allowed to take it off once they are "seated" for the show.
Tickets for all Live From The Drive-In shows will go on sale on Friday (June 26). Ticket prices will vary, but start at $125, per car, which accommodates four people. More information on the event can be seen here.
