Beyonce Surprises Young Brain Cancer Survivor With Heartwarming Gift

Beyonce sent the most uplifting gift to a young fan battling cancer.

Lyric Chanel, the little “queen” fighting brain cancer (“anaplastic ependymoma,” per her Instagram), received the sweetest surprise from Queen Bey after expressing her love for the superstar in previous posts.

In a video capturing her reaction, Chanel poses with a gifted bouquet of white flowers and a heart-warming message of encouragement from the “Formation” singer. “Beyonce, thank you so much for these flowers. I love you, and I can’t wait to meet you!” Chanel says in the clip with the cutest smile.

"When the Queen Bey sends you flowers 😱😱😱," read the video's caption. "Thank you so much @beyonce Lyric was so shock to get mail from you and she said Beyonce is the Best!!! We love you so much and she hopes to one day meet you💕💕💕💕💕💕💕"

The heartwarming gifts arrived after Chanel posted a throwback clip of her performing Beyonce’s song “Love on Top” as a preschooler. The clip seemingly found its way to the “XO” superstar, who was touched by Chanel’s emotional connection to the song.

“Honey, Honey, I can see the stars all the way from here, I can feel the sun whenever you're near," Beyonce writes in her note, nodding to the lyrics of her 2011 hit song. "I was so moved to see how these lyrics inspired you, not nearly as much as you inspired me. I can't wait to meet you one day and I'm so happy you're home safely. You are a survivor. God bless, B."
