Carrie Underwood Says Husband Mike Fisher Is 'Still My Boyfriend'

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, have been married for a decade now, but that's not stopping the country star from celebrating her man on National Boyfriend Day. Over the weekend, Underwood marked the occasion in a new Instagram photo of the adorable couple standing side by side, smiling at the camera.

"Been married for 10 years, but he's still my boyfriend...#NationalBoyfriendDay," the superstar captioned the post.

In the comments, fans quickly showed their love for the couple and agreed with her sentiment. "My husband still tells people I'm his girlfriend," one user wrote, adding, "We've been married 32 years." Another commented, "I've been married for 39 years and I say the same thing! Love is keeping it real!"

Underwood and Fisher celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in July. The "Love Wins" singer turned to Instagram at the time to share several photos taken throughout their relationship alongside a message to their younger selves.

"Hey you two crazy kids. Believe it or not, some day you both will become (slightly) less awkward, you’ll grow up to have pretty cool jobs, you’ll meet backstage at some girl’s concert, fall in love, get married, have two amazing boys, and live happily ever after!" Underwood captioned the post.

The couple got married on July 10, 2010 and since then have welcomed two sons to their family, Isaiah, 5, and Jacob, 20 months.

Underwood's oldest son, Isaiah just recently made his music debut with a special rendition of "Little Drummer Boy" on his mom's new Christmas album, My Gift, released on September 25. During a recent appearance on the Today Show, Underwood shared that she got emotional after hearing her son on the song for the first time, noting that she was the "proudest mom in the world."

"I was in the booth with him and trying to get him to access all his little 5-year-old emotions, which he can totally do on his own," she explained. "When I heard the song back with his sweet little voice on it, I was laughing and crying, just so many emotions. I'm so proud of him."
