Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne Engaged To Singer-Songwriter Austin Moody

Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne is engaged to singer-songwriter Austin Moody!

According to People, Moody popped the question on Monday afternoon (December 28) outside of Nashville's Ocean Way Recording Studios. The proposal was carefully planned out with the help from Runaway June bandmate, Natalie Stovall. The publication reports that Stovall asked Wayne to meet her at Ocean Way for a recording session, but when the singer arrived, Moody was there instead, ready to get down on one knee.

In a collection of photos from the proposal shared with People, Wayne is seen looking pleasantly surprised when she saw Moody upon her arrival to the studio. After she said yes, Stovall came out to pop the champagne for the newly engaged couple before she FaceTimed the third member of Runaway June, Naomi Cooke, to share the news with her.

Following the special day, Wayne turned to social media to share several snapshots of her celebrating not only the engagement but also her new fiancé's birthday.

"Happy birthday to the man I get to spend the rest of my life with!!! I love you @theaustinmoody. Can’t wait to celebrate the day with you... ❤️💍," she wrote alongside the collection of photos.

Wayne's exciting news comes just weeks after Cooke also got engaged to Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson.

People previously reported that Johnson proposed to Cooke on December 13 after a year and half of dating. Two days later, the country trio member turned to Instagram to share the news herself with fans, showing off her ring.

"By the look of my nails, he surprised me," she captioned the selfie with her new fiancé.

Martin co-wrote "Christmas On The Radio," one of the original tracks on Runaway June's new holiday project When I Think About Christmas, released in October. The Christmas EPis the group's first official project with Stovall, following the departure of Hannah Mulholland earlier this year.

"There are a number of beautiful, talented, hungry, hard-working young women in town," Cooke previously told People of their new member, "but finding someone who knows what it's like to be on the road, who knows the difficulty of life on the road, who knows what it's like to work with a crew of guys ... Natalie knows. She's just such a good vibe."
