Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Had A 'Big Fight' In December

News broke on Tuesday (January 5) that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have imminent plans to divorce. According to Page Six, Kim has hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser and the couple are already in settlement talks.

Kim and Kanye have also been living separately for some time. Kim has remained in the couple's Los Angeles home, while Kanye has been living at his Wyoming compound full time. “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” a source told the outlet.

While rumors have circulated for some time that Kim and Kanye's marriage was on the rocks, the KKW Beauty founder has already been trying to make it work for the sake of their children. Following a "big fight" back in December, however, it seems Kim is planning to move forward with their divorce.

"They had a big fight in early December,” another source told Us Weekly. “Kanye blew up at Kim and she was really upset. Things between them don’t seem to have healed since that.”

Page Six's source also claims “this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot" since she and Kanye tied the knot. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign," the source said. "Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Neither Kim nor Kanye have commented on the reports of their impending divorce.
